GP Direct Access

GPs can now admit patients directly to our medical unit for care and investigations. We accept all adult and non-critical patients with medical conditions, examples include diabetes & hypertension management, geriatrics, gastro issues, cellulitis, UTI’s and wound infections.

If you have a patient requiring a medical admission you can make one phone call to the number below and our on-site Bed Manager/After Hours Manager and Medical Registrar or VMO will organise for your patient to be admitted that day. This new hotline is accessible 24 hours a day.
