Clinical trials are a crucial type of research to find new and better ways of detecting, diagnosing, and treating diseases and medical conditions. Clinical trials aim to improve your treatment options and your quality of life.

If you have been diagnosed with disease or medical condition, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical trial that is available at St George Private Hospital. Each clinical trial is designed with a specific set of criteria for who is eligible to join a trial. These criteria may include factors such as the type of medical condition you have, your age and your overall wellbeing. If you’re interested in participating in a clinical trial, please discuss with your specialist about clinical trial options that may be suitable for you.

St George Private Hospital has been conducting international early phase medical oncology studies for over a decade. Patients involved in a clinical trial receive treatments, observation and care from our team of highly trained staff. Currently the Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) at St George Private Hospital conducts various medical oncology studies.

If you are a clinician and would like to have further information on our CTU portfolio and services, please contact us on ClinicalTrials.SGP@ramsayhealth.com.au
