Dr. Auyeung obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney, followed by basic physician training (internal medicine) at St. George and St. Vincent’s Hospitals. He then subspecialized in Respiratory Medicine, at Concord and Sutherland Hospitals. He subsequently undertook a dedicated year in Sleep and Respiratory Failure at St. George Hospital, completing dual training in Respiratory and Sleep (FRACP). Dr Auyeung also holds advanced qualifications including a Master of Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology), Graduate Certificate in Allergic Diseases, and Clinical Ultrasound.
He has been a Conjoint Clinical Associate Lecturer at UNSW since 2017. Dr. Auyeung also has a strong interest in research and evidence based medicine and has presented at prestigious international conferences and is the recipient of multiple national research awards. He is a member of TSANZ, ERS, APSR, ATS, EAACI, and ASA.
