Dr Henry Shepherd studied medicine at UNSW and a Masters of Surgery (Plastic Surgery) at Sydney University. He underwent formal surgical training in Sydney, obtaining the title of Specialist Plastic Surgeon (FRACS) in 2024. Dr Shepherd then trained internationally in 2024 and 2025 in London, New York, Paris and Barcelona. He completed a Reconstructive Fellowship at The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, one of the top 10 cancer hospitals globally. Here he was part of the team who performed the first robotic microsurgical breast reconstruction in the UK. Dr Shepherd was then awarded an Aesthetic/Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious The London Clinic, a centre for world-leading surgeons in the heart of Marylebone. His focus here was on aesthetic surgery of the breast, body and face.
Dr Shepherd works at both St George Public Hospital and St George Prviate Hospital.
