Dr Ilias Kotronakis

Dr Kotronakis is a fully qualified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with a special interest in hand and skin cancer surgery. He is one of only a few plastic surgeons that offers Mohs skin cancer surgery. Dr Kotronakis is a local to Sydney's south, and has appointments at St George private and public hospitals, in addition to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He is highly respected by his colleagues and regularly teaches training plastic surgeons.

Dr Ilias Kotronakis qualified with first class honours in Medicine from the University of Sydney. He then completed his internship, surgical residency and general surgery training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Dr Kotronakis is a fully qualified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and gained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2007.   FRACS is the only surgical qualification recodnized by the Australian Medical Council. Dr Kotronakis underwent further training in microsurgery at Charing Cross Hospital in London, in association with the Imperial College of Medicine.

Dr Kotronakis has lived in Sydney's south for many years, and has a strong commitment to providing the highest standard of health care to the St George area.
