Dr Hibberd completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2008, and worked as a junior doctor in Melbourne before moving to Sydney to complete Orthopaedic training. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association in January 2021.
Dr Hibberd undertook a clinical fellowship in Hip and Knee Arthroplasty & Lower Extremity Reconstruction at St Michael’s Hospital Toronto, gaining skills in primary, complex primary and revision arthroplasty surgery.
She has appointments at St George & Sutherland Hospitals, and St George Private Hospital.
Dr Hibberd is passionate about teaching, and is currently completing a Master of Surgical Education through the University of Melbourne. She has also completed a Master of Surgery (by research) in Orthopaedic Surgery through the University of Melbourne, being awarded First Class Honours. She has a number of first author publications and has presented research at both National and International Scientific Meetings.
