Dr Lam is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who specialises in foot and ankle disorders. He was awarded his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons after completing his orthopaedic specialist training in Sydney. Dr Lam undertook further foot and ankle training as an Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Fellow with Drs Myerson and Schon in Baltimore, USA.
Dr Lam has particular expertise in keyhole minimally invasive bunion correction surgery and sports related injuries of the foot and ankle including the latest techniques in arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery and cartilage transplantation in the ankle. His other clinical interests include reconstructive surgery for arthritis (including big toe and ankle replacement surgery) and tendon disorders of the foot and ankle .
Dr Lam combines the latest techniques in reconstructive surgery and rapid rehabilitation to allow athletes a rapid and timely return to sport and work.
