Walking Challenge St George Private VS Kogarah Council

150 St George Private staff wore pedometers for 4 weeks and challenged each other AND staff from their Local Council (Kogarah) to the first 10,000 Steps Challenge event at the hospital.
The Hospital challenged the Council during the month of June as a follow on from “Heart Week” activities in May which included free blood pressure testing at Kogarah Library and Cultural Centre.
The GOLD MEDAL winner of the Challenge was Roula Ziotas from House Keeping at St George Private. Roula walked and danced her way to a total of 1,206 097 steps during the 4 weeks! Silver and Bronze went to Council Workers Grant Davies, a Streetscapes Operator and Ron Hensby, the Ranger at a local park.
