Our Obstetricians and Paediatricians work in collaboration with all our Maternity Unit staff to ensure that all our patients and new families receive the optimal standard of care.

Our Maternity Team are dedicated to ensuring your first few days as a parent are supported and focused on your individual needs throughout the process of your pregnancy, birth and postnatal period.

Midwifery Support Service

This popular service meets the needs of mothers who would prefer the comfort of their own home following the birth of their baby. An experienced Midwife will provide one on one care to mother and baby in their own home for up to an hour at each visit, including postnatal care, education and support to help with the transition from hospital to home.

• More relaxing in your home environment Visits by the Midwife can be arranged between yourself and the Midwife at times convenient to you and your family.

Valet Parking Service

St George Private Hospital provides a car park underneath the hospital. Enter via South Street. During the day if the car park is full the concierge will take your car keys and park your car for you.

If the concierge is not present, give your keys to the receptionist and they will arrange for your car to be parked for you. After 9.30pm the underground car park is closed, and does not reopen until 6am.

It is therefore essential that you contact Delivery Suite prior to arriving at the hospital. This allows Security to be available to let you in to the hospital and the car park. To exit the car park between the hours of 9.30pm and 6am or on weekends you will need $5 in gold coins to be paid at the exit of the car park.
