A fresh new look & a new beginning

In February 2007, St George Private Maternity underwent extensive renovation to upgrade all delivery suites, the special care nursery and patient rooms.

The results are stunning and it’s undoubtedly the most modern and comprehensive Private Maternity Service in Sydney’s South.

Our Rooms

All of our rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished with brand new carpet, cabinets and soft furnishings with special features including:

• Custom designed breast feeding chairs
• Generous en suite bathroom
• Remote controlled television
• In-room safe
• Your own mini refrigerator

Delivery Suites

Our 6 modern delivery suites were completely refurbished in January 2007.

Each Delivery Suite is very spacious and provides the following features for you and your partner.

• an oversized private ensuite with spa bath
• flat screen TV
• remote fetal monitoring technology

Special Care Nursery

Our Special Care Nursery is a Level 2 Nursery and was completely refurbished in January 2007. We have 8 cots for our babies who need a little more TLC.

If your baby has had a more difficult entry into the world, your baby may be taken to our Special Care Nursery for observation and treatment. Our staff will keep you informed of her/his progress and encourage both you and your partner to be with your baby whenever you can.

The North Lounge

The North Lounge provides spectacular views of Botany Bay and offers parents and their guests a quiet place to relax.

Daily education sessions take place here on topics such as Breastfeeding and Settling.
