How to book into St George Private Maternity

At your first appointment with your chosen Obstetrician, they will provide you with the relevant paperwork to book into St George Private Hospital. You will then need to present this information to the booking office located on the ground floor between the hours of 9am – 4pm weekdays. A fully refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking, conditions apply.

Patient Information

If you are a member of a health fund it is important prior to your admission to check with them regarding the following:

1. That your level of Health Fund Cover adequately covers the cost of all anticipated procedures and accommodation (e.g.: a single room).
2. That your cover is changed to include your newborn baby (e.g.: in the case of baby being admitted to the Special Care Nursery is your newborn baby covered).
3. If an excess is payable for this admission. This would need to be paid prior to your admission.
4. If you have been a member of your Health Fund for less than 12 months your fund may not accept liability for the costs of this admission.
